Hi, I’m James. I have been qualified as a personal trainer for the last 15 years. My passion for health and fitness started whilst training and competing internationally for Great Britain and England as a hammer thrower and developed whilst studying for my degree in Sport and exercise at university specializing in coaching and performance. I have great experience of working with clients throughout a variety of different goals ranging from fat loss to strength and size. I have the ability to motivate and inspire clients regardless of physical fitness levels and abilities whilst encouraging habits that can be life changing. No matter what your personal goal, I will educate each client the correct techniques and ensure motivation remains at the high level needed to push each client forward, giving them the confidence to achieve their goal. I enjoy introducing new and unique techniques into my clients programs to keep the sessions current and exciting, which in turn assists my progress as a Personal Trainer. My goal as a Personal Trainer is not only to change the way my clients look and feel, but to integrate functional technicality within every aspect of a workout. My methods transform physique, but also enhance your body’s practical capabilities. We’ll work together to create a personalised exercise and nutrition programme, to suit your goals. I aim to create dynamic workouts combining, strength & conditioning work, HIIT, and even boxing. My own prowess in mixed martial arts, and other sports such as boxing and basketball allow me to train from a sporting perspective, which makes for an engaging fitness experience. I am a motivated Personal Trainer who holds extensive knowledge in areas such as strength and conditioning and sports nutrition. In addition to being a level 3 qualified personal trainer I also attain further academic knowledge through my BsC Hons in Sports and Exercise Science. I have been personal training for 4 years now, however I have been working in and around gym environments for 6 years. I am passionate about helping individuals achieve their fitness goals and will do whatever it takes to help them get there. I also offer tailored diet and training plans to help individuals smash their targets!​
